Preparation Channels and Layers.@Alan





























Ok so today I have worked on all the layers. Im hoping they are all right?
Went over the pixelated temp face for position and made it all on layers and better resolution and deleted the pixelated one.
I am just unsure whether these tiff files are ok or not is it suppose to look like this?
with the white background and mouth after the mask and deleting that and the channel part. Ive done two mouths with the channel.

Face texture placement.







Ok so I have been watching the tutorial on the 2d face rig and saw they have a placement one that they use to put all the other expressions in the right place. These were shapes I had made before but they were small when scaled up in ps on the uv for the head. Because of this I resized, located them and painted the skin and now I am happier with seeing how this looks with the positioning.
Next though I need to make these shapes higher resolution on the same file.and replace these as they simply are not high enough in detail. then after make the other pieces and follow the video but I thought it was important to know the placement on the model first then before doing the rig etc. ill update it as I already know the exact sizes and position now and I just wanna make some better eyelashes than what I had. 
I think it will take some time to understand the layers I need and everything but I'm just trying to do it bit by bit.



(Yesterday) locaters,rig points,binded the points to the armour/joints, edited the uv and updated to texture pipe on back and other shoulder





had to update the uv by joining pieces by sewing and sticking and straightening for example the shoulder needed to be put together to do the stripes or it would not match up on each half and the same with the pipe except it also needed straightening so the lines matched also. 
I also updated the body uv which had an object accidentally over the gauntlets I didn't see so I re positioned this allowing me to texture the trims of the gauntlets. 
I now need to focus on texturing the rest and the 2d face rig, also need to do the weight painting and the skinning etc.
