The Shower Scene Fig1 This famous scene of Hitchcock's psycho works so well, its montage of cuts, its metamorphosis with the plug...
Hi Georgia. I've noticed your last few Pipeline 1 modelling posts. I'm a little concerned by your progress. Mainly, by how far you've drifted from the examples in the videos. The goal of the Pipeline 1 is to COPY not INTERPRET so that you can learn how to model to an industry standard/method. Capturing likeness etc in the process. However, as I said, your models are quite far from that, both in the use (amount of geometry) and how your model is being sculpted. It's as if your trying to model from memory, looking once then shutting the video down. I wouldn't necessarily have a problem with that method if you weren't making such unusual representational decisions, such as hard lines in the face, low amounts of geometry, square shapes where things are round (eg centre of the body). I've created a series of comparison images to illustrate what I am talking about...

Note: The geometry (model) has a correlation with skinning and rigging (coming this term). Which is why it is important to get it right at this stage.
