• Next I need to go over all the drawings of the older Georgia. Front side top quarter.
• Then I need to do a list of all the prop's and orthograph them too.
• Also need to think about how I'm going to do the animatic better in the meantime.
• And revisit tk2. and see if I can get further with that before deadline.

• Animatic so it makes sense to other people, takes up full screen clearer and more frames added. (so the movement's are clearer and camera moves.) 
• Draw the orthographs of the other props I am going to need and orthograph them.

I think it's starting to look more like the drawing now and this is a ton more accurate than before and I noticed how important the nose and eyes were to stay cute in terms of the size and everything.

What I have been up to so far

Ok so I have took the drawing into Ps and been manually going over the lines as accurate as possible then I have been colouring/shading everything...one thing I noticed was that I didn't lose the way the drawing originally looked doing it this way..however this may be a starting point for how I could refine lines without straight away restricting myself to the path way of outlines? but I should likely go over these later with the path? other than that I have been trying to enhance the drawing's and I'm going to do the rest of the background this dark blue then I was going to add some more colour tones for example a darker and lighter blues and using the brush type that adds a sort of feeling of an outer part of a planet the blur looking one to it and also add a kind of grey metal kind of floor they are on like a part of a station or robotic terrain. I was also going to do the title in a metal grey also. Once I have gone over it all and have a look at adding rockets or ships or stars..I don't want to overcrowd it.

This colour of blue was used because its one of the first colours that come to mind that is space that isn't black and it would be possible to still see everything also it brings back nostalgia for what I think of my character's having as a background colour. Oh and the font may need to be a different size or moved down more etc.

The bottom picture is to show the process a bit clearer..

I was thinking once I have done this picture I need to go back to my orthography and first very carefully draw one rthe lines manually then go over them with a path etc to get it still looking the same as the drawing's and not lose charm maybe?? I would like to just re-start the orthographic's process from the beginning and scrap my first attempt from before.

todays work and what I need to do next.

Today I did this drawing and I spoke to Alan he said it looks it shows the project coming together with both of the character's and said how it looks like a poster so I should use this drawing to help me get better at line drawing on photoshop and illustrator and then put the painted shades in etc and how I need thin and thick lines and match the drawing as much as possible and not lose the charm and think about where the line would start in terms of the thickness is it in the middle, edge etc? after this I would be more ready to then go onto the orthographs. Also he said about doing a font and recreating this picture with the 3d model's later down the line.

I have been trying to create a font that has both the title and the style of my characters with the curved lines and straight lines I also looked at some examples of fonts in the genre and of both buzz and 40k and noticed the strong capital words the slant...then Alan said about how I need to show the fonts meaning/purpose through the font more so how I could get this idea of infinity so the lines are going off of the page..I also need to think about what I can have in the background and the composition in the meantime for example if I have rockets or planets in the background/logo where should I put them and what will get eyeline following etc not too chaotic etc.. this was what I started to come up with. The planet may be too generic but it was just an idea for now that kinda makes sense for both worlds but it could change. 

I also did a few drawings to look at the specs I put in the animatic and drew the cake toppers.

I measured with the previous drawings and did the older me quarter view drawing (ortho) . 

Next I'm gunna do a drawing if them both together I thought if doing it where they are both doing as hero pose young one infront if old one. 

I'm not really a huge fan of this one hence I'll likely do another as described above.

OK so this is the top view and quarter view of the younger me which I have done to scale and tried to do as accurate as measured using the other drawings and ruler. (an ortho graph drawing) need to scan in. 

I used some accuracy for this but was just trying to draw another pose and have it where I'm sad. (not an ortho) 

(going to be ortho) this top view of older me needs tweaking, I am also working on the quarter view so that should be up soon. Aswell as some more expression and body linguistic drawings of them both.

Going to be working on the quarter views and top view drawings and them doing things/holding things for orthograph's this weekend.

Next I need to do top views with one arm up and quarter views and also perspective ones of them doing things. Also I have drawn out all the rest of the storyboard for animatic. I just have more recordings to do and edit it all together and export I have all the drawings though. Ill try get this up as soon as possible.

animatic drawing work today: so this is after the lamp stuff (Bullying Pixar parody I did which is in the video I put up.) Because I need to edit all this into that animatic I decided to just post this for now and explain some things.

Me on top of dice introduced into Warhammer dice etc.( big dice just like how the beginning was a big cake.)

This shot needs to be the opposite of the beginning because I was being denied to be buzz at the wedding, now I'm happy because I'm being who I want anyway even as I'm older. Its an overcoming what people think and say and so on.

 Ok so when I mention the various races i spoke to Alan and he said to keep it simple and I ended up with characterising the races by showing there paints e.g. the describing words like nurgle green, horns etc and trying to get as much personality as possible.

When I mention perturabo I have decided not to show him but to indicate his importance to me this is done by zooming into my shoulder arm piece where it has the logo of the iron warriors his indicates he is the leader of the armor/army I am wearing and then when you see me I am enthusiastically moving my arm up in a powerful and heroic role model way with the arm guard logo in shot.

When I mention I like to command my units I authoritatively point like an order and have dominance, camera looking up at me and then when I say detailed miniatures I have stood onto a base that the miniatures go on to replicate a miniature as myself. 

When I say I like the conflict some explosions or chaos could occur.

where I say I know how people may think how stupid it all is.. I have decided to make it more humorous like the older me is pulling silly face's and younger me is laughing an then there is a close up of older me (present smiling and it ends.)

Added more to Premise

So today I added the bullying part the idea is to have the words Weird but in a Pixar style way e.g. tomboy studios instead of animation studios, then as I speak about how I reacted to the bullying I start punching and kicking, attacking the letter I' just as I have succeeded in pushing it over the lamp that jumps on the I in Pixar shows up for a second  to do his duty realising that the I is about to fall and hops away crazily, scared this is the humorous part and then I started the storyboarding for the Warhammer part just like the beginning I am sad I am not allowed to be buzz. however now I'm grown up and I can play Warhammer, and so its the same kind of shots but rather than being on a cake I'm on a dice....and rather than being sad I have overcome bullies etc I am happy looking up etc and also the camera was going down to show the shortness last time but this time the tallness...I need put the new recordings in for my next part so its more accurate but yeah..I storybaorded a lot of stuff but it was too violent etc so this is what I ended up with I have a few more ideas to carry on tomorrow.

The animatic starts off with the title then the camera moving low to get to me ( when I was younger=small.) then me confused at wy I couldn't wear the outfit to a family wedding showing me small on a huge wedding cake next to wedding figures. and then walking off sad holding my wings as if I cannot use them. then. imagine me.. then you see me in the outfit preparing myself imagining all the fun stuff I could do so you see me press the button and the wings come out. Then you see the wedding cake, glasses etc normally but with targets on them and see them transform into zurgs troops and move forward and a close up of the figures in burg cakes grasp. then I go on to say I'm to the rescue and so diagonally I fly into shot shooting at the enemies then it pauses. at this point then you hear me say but it wasn't just buzz and I talk about other tv shows etc and so you see me changing the channel after zooming out and seeing I was watching myself being buzz on tv and after showing the costume and figures I have it goes to the clock to show the time I take on my interests then this morphs/transitions into the gender icon male as I explain how I prefer male character this gets changing details turns into female icon damsel in distress and then this circle transitions into a bored Georgia buzz lightyear in a class with hands on face whilst a group of girls talk about there girly stuff and I don't quite fit in.

now I am just missing a scanned in drawing of side view to orthograph. Im working on the front Older me character now.

I think it would help to do the drills when I have time also because the one I don't understand yet is the thin to thick line.

However I think for this I would like it like this. then repeat for the other orphos.

oh and also erased the curve ends that looked more messy.

I was also thinking earlier that my backgrounds/image planes could be done in this way?

I think this is looking good? few things I might tweak to be a better curve.. There may be a few more things I wanna add in the orthodontist like the laser circle and maybe the finger part of the mitten shape..but this is how its going..working on the back now then ill be doing the iron warrior front then I need to draw the side views and back of iron warrior and do it all again..also need to get working on drawing animatic and jpj.

Ok so there was script changes and the part that lost interest was the Warhammer area so what I have storyboarded is me in my iron warrior amor 3d modelled..with the background image plane much like the wedding one being the tabletop terrain and so the things mentioned like dice can be an object in the scene, and the miniature character's I thought could be cut out's that can go in and out of the scene. not only will this be more interesting and allow for more interesting ways to show thing's but will connect with the way the first part was done.
