The Shower Scene Fig1 This famous scene of Hitchcock's psycho works so well, its montage of cuts, its metamorphosis with the plug...
Hi Georgia, please see the email I have just sent you!
ReplyDeleteHey Georgia... You seem to be missing some info here... I think your audience would first need to understand the role of the 'natural pacemaker' of a healthy heart and what it does and what it controls, before you introduce the idea of the artificial one. Your client has asked you to 'teach' an audience about the functions and processes of the heart - not a stand-alone film on artificial pacemakers. Are you meeting the brief yet, Georgia? I'd suggest 'not quite yet'. You need to ensure the nuts and bolts of healthy heart function (cardiac cycle) are taught to people first...
ReplyDeleteOk by that do you mean the cardiac cycle of deoxygenated blood and oxygenetaed blood in the circulatory system before I talk or show anything about the pacemaker being involved? I was going to paint the 16:9 following this remodelling or modelling more based on this adding to the script before to add this in? and do I need a painted animatic or can I present a Maya one with all sounds etc I'm little confused. thanks
DeleteHi Georgia, Yes... the brief asks you to teach the pupils about the cardiac cycle, so that is how the blood is pumped from one chamber to the other.
DeleteYou weren't actually asked to do a Maya pre-viz at this stage - the animatic should be the next stage on from your storyboard... have you got a storyboard that shows how your action is going to pan out?
Ok in that case no I haven't got a fully fledged storyboard that is accurate to what I need. I should do that and the three 16:9 paintings and then an animatic from these with the sound from script and the sounds. then put it all into that pitch format I need.
